Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated…

Jumping right back into the swing of things, there have been many announcements, changes, devices that have come out since my last post. I wanted to touch on something that I can’t get out of my mind. Has Vista finally figured out where it can shine? Has Vista finally been given the credit it [may [...]

    iPod Touch 16GB now running 1.1.4 Jailbreak…

Well I have recently gotten my hands on an iPod Touch 16GB. It’s not mine yet, and so I’m reluctant to call it “mine” but I have to say… if I am forced to give it back, I think I’m really going to miss it. most recently I have decided to finally make myself an [...]

Just to add some salt on the High Dev DVD wars…

…this article from blu-ray.com states that Warner Bros/New Line shift to Blu-Ray exclusively was “due to the format’s lack of region coding”. Wow… not much I can say about one of the most annoying “features” of current DVD movies and something else which I think should be made illegal. About Peter RomiszewskiMore Posts (10)

New year yet the same old thing…

This article just came out on Cnet about Warner Bros. Studios backing the Blu-ray DVD standard exclusively. The same article immediately jumped to the conclusion that this meant the end of the HD DVD vs Blu-Ray wars… and that Blu-ray is the winner. I for one disagree… but maybe not for the reasons you [...]

Piracy, human nature, solutions and what not to do…

So the Internet has been an incredible phenomenon and has changed everyone it’s touched. It will only get bigger and as more and more people use it, it will become like electricity… essential for our survival. Yes I know that might be stretching it… but really, though there are people that can live without electricity, if [...]

    Microsoft launches Sync Framework

So Microsoft has now launched their answer to Google Gears called Microsoft Sync Framework (MSF), question is, what does this mean to you and me. Well to start with, it means that Microsoft is starting to slowly get it… the Web 2.0 concept that is. Will it be enough though? I think the only real [...]

    OpenSocial and it’s impact…

So Google has recently finally unveiled it’s plans for social networking OpenSocial. About time if you ask me… but what should be noted, that Google have once again gone and done something no one else has. Instead of creating a new Social Network (yet another one) with the hope that people will join it, leaving [...]
