It occurred to me today that there are a few gadgets that I couldn’t live without…. Ironically some of them are gadgets for gadgets! Doh!

  1. iPhone Portable charger – See I said I had gadgets for gadgets! – This one adds pretty much a full recharge of your iPhone.  If like me you use 3G on your iPhone or GPS then this is one of those essential gadgets for you.  It’s small & light.
  2. iPhone case – My iPhone case has come in so handy so many times… It’s not a complicated one, just a simple Griffin cover (i also have a screen protector on it. And Griffin have also just partnered up with Threadless to do a range of iPhone cases to match your favourite Threadless TShirts.
  3. Bluetooth Headset – I’m just in the process of switching bluetooth headsets and have a few to try out at the moment.  I’ll be reviewing them in the coming weeks. I use them for dictation (voice to text) and the usual, on the go conversations.
  4. Phone – My usual phone is my iPhone but I always have a demo device or two.  I feel lost going out without my phone.
  5. Laptop – I love my laptop!  I’m on it most of the day and quite a bit of the evening!
  6. Netbook – This is for conferences, I’ve just not got round to upgrading the battery on the laptop to the 6 hr one… Then the netbook will probably end up redundant unfortunately!
  7. Geeky Tshirts – Yes I’ve classed these as gadgets… well some have electronics in them but others are just geeky! My current favourite Tshirt place is <ReturnVoid> and anyone looking for a geeky Valentines gift should take a look at their male and female Valentines Geek tshirts.  They are lots of fun.
  8. Going from social media tech geek to sports geek… this is the best little gadget I’ve picked up this year to date! It’s a little sports action camera! It’s great! they call it a spy cam on Red5 but for snowboarding and recording it, this is great! Simple, small & effective…
  9. Wacom Pen & Touch Tablet – every now and again I get the drawing bug, or decide I want to draw a diagram and include it in a post or a document.  this device is perfect for both and I love it to bits!
  10. Cool-er E-Reader – I love my little e-reader, it’s light and the readability of the screen is great, it also has loads of books available and supports pdf as well as other formats. It’s so useful for reading on the go without weighing down my bag and the battery life is great.

I could go on but those are my top 10! What are your top 10 gadgets at the moment.

I’m also looking for recommendations for a good wind meter for when I go kitesurfing later in the year, so any recommendations for that are welcome!
