I was reading through my rss feeds earlier this evening and came across the following article and video on podtech all about the Esquire house 360. It’s a great looking house full of the latest technology gadgets and toys, but to be honest I don’t think you could really class it as a bachelor pad. It’s more like a technology house.

The furniture is all cool and sexy and well designed, the layouts are open and airy and it has all the signs of a feminine touch. ;) So, if that is what Intel and Esquire class as the bachelor pad I wonder when we are going to see the female version. How will they differ?

I found it very interesting to note the perception that the technologies in the house were apparently aimed at the male market. I’m sure that marketers are missing out on a whole other market here. They seem to forget that women like technology too! Some of the products that have really succeeded like the IPOD have not aimed solely at a gender specific market. Others should take note and see what happens then!
