The details of the Barcelona Girl Geek Dinners are just starting to come together, as such I have opened up the registration on the wiki pages. The event is open to anyone at TechEd and ITForum 2006 and also to those girly geeks based in Barcelona itself! It’s even open to the guy geeks so long as they are invited by a girly geek who is also attending the event.

So far we still need to find the venue and I have someone working on finding somewhere suitable for around 100 people in a bar or restaurant near the conference centre. If you happen to know somewhere that may be suitable then do give me a shout, we are always open to venue ideas.

I’m not going to give the details of the speakers, that is a surprise and I hope you all have fun and enjoy yourselves that evening! Keep you eye on the blog for details of the venue, the details will also be posted on the wiki pages too!

For those of you who don’t really know what this event is and how it all works have a look at the London Girl Geek Dinners website as it will be organised and run in the same style with speakers, food, drink and conversation! This particular event is being fully sponsored by Microsoft and there are 2 events running over the two weeks, the first one is on the 7th November and the second one is on the 14th November.
