I have been chatting recently with the organisers of D.Construct and they really want to get more of the girls involved with the event. We have been talking about doing a D.Construct girl geek picnic at lunchtime… what do you think? Nice idea? Are you coming to the event, interested or want to know more… ask your questions here and I’ll do my best to find out the answers!

This year’s conference is all about designing the user experience.
They’ve lined up some inspirational speakers including Jared Spool and Peter Merholtz. They’ve got George Oates & Denise Wilton talking about human traffic, Leisa Reichelt on waterfalls and washing machines, Cameron Moll on great design, with Tom Coates and Matt Webb giving us their respective views on webs of data and experience stacks.

Registration for the conference won’t be open until later in the summer (you’ll be first to know when) but special badges for your interwebs are available now: http://2007.dconstruct.org/buttons.

Hope to see you in September!
