After the first day of the Symbian Smartphone Show in London, I was lucky enough to get invited to the after party. Set in a local pub in London, it was a great event which allowed us to get to know the Symbian people better. Also, some friends were there so it was a way to catchup with them too.
We had the whole upstairs to ourselves, even got name tags (after being confirmed on the guest list). It was very well organized, with free flowing beer and wine.
This is Mr Nokia himself (actually it’s Phillip Schwarzmann) who was busy working the Nokia Forum section of the show. He looked pretty energetic after a full day of work (and if anyone has worked a show before, it is VERY energy draining)

Back to our friend Phillip with a fellow Nokia presenter. She was showing off the new Nokia touch screen phone technology coming out next year. They didn’t have (unfortunately) any prototypes to show, but they did have some interesting mock up pictures.
Friend’s from Jaiku showed up as well… in fact at times this seemed more like a Jaiku party than anything else (Phillip is also on Jaiku).
This is Dan Lane who was kind enough to let me play with his iPhone for a bit… damn that’s a cool phone.

So after that I had to show my fellow Jaiku’ers how we Poles like to drink… = a lot. 
Actually we had a great time. After a full day of tech talk and gadget showing it was good to unwind a bit. I just LOVE afterparties.
