On Friday night I went into London and caught up with an old friend of mine from University, David Thomas. He did the same course as me in Manchester just a couple of years before me. He went on to found a company called Inventya a while ago and I got to catch up and chat with him about it. Inventya was a consultancy company for advising people with new ideas and inventions on their next steps. The funny thing is recently he’s decided to try and put his own consultancy out of business by creating an automated tool based around the advice he and his team have been giving and the research that they did.

Genius I thought! Automate the process and remove the barriers of entry for new businesses and those looking to start a business. Anyway I had the chance to ask David a few questions on camera and thought I’d share the moment with you all! I think it’s the first time David’s ever been in an online film so be kind to him :)

If you have any questions that you would like to ask David or any of his team or have any questions on Inventya then pop over to www.inventya.com. David and his team will be more than happy to discuss things with everyone further, he will also be looking out for comments here too so you can leave them for him here too!

A few key items that I noted on the website were as follows:

Look out for their software at the North West Development Agency, Patent Office and Business Link! It’s all systems go for the guys at Inventya!

I’m hoping that the next little video that I get to do will be one with a female entrepreneur as the focus, but we shall see… :)
