So for all my pontificating and pouting about unjust male/female relations re. all things media-inclined and Web 2.0 work and leisure related, a little light relief for a Fri afternoon and back on with some gadgetary fun….
Now what is it that every Geek secretly covets for their MP3 player?… well an iPod Pocket holder of course! (say that fast 3 times!)
Genius, so much more convenient than some scratched up encasement that only infringes upon your iPod’s beauty and takes up unnecessary space in various bags etc…
But wait. This appears to be an iPod Pocket that parties in your pants!
Now how would that look in public trying to locate your latest podcast, alongside such ‘I was just adjusting the volume officer’ justifications.
Now some of my guy geek friends have seen the ‘logic’ in this, ‘oh great a finally a place to keep my piece in place’. I can only assume that the ‘piece’ to which they refer is of their iPiece, but make of that what you will.
And so you see it’s not just women that encounter technology aimed at only their feminine-ness. This boxer pocket exudes a masculinity that margins on the silly, I mean how on earth could you change track in public?… And not to mention to ensure that you had the ‘essential’ abs to go with it… A beer-belly iPod boxer really wouldn’t be the same now would it?
