Geeky Gift Ideas for Toddlers

Everyone needs a website or two that is their go to site for gifts. I have a few that I go to for geeky gifts for my geek friends but what I didn’t have until now was the same for my children. Wicked Uncle is exactly that… They have loads of amazing toys to inspire and encourage your children to connect with their inner geek!

They contacted me and offered me a £40 voucher to try out the site and their toys. I started looking around for toys suitable for my 19 month old and 3 year old and was amazed at the variety of toys they had. They even had toys to encourage little scientists and engineers. Science kits, car building kits, drill kits… you name it they have it! I was utterly spoilt for choice.

In the end I asked both my husband and two friends what they would choose, both said they weren’t sure but gave me a shortlist of about 5 items. (not the same 5 I might add) Then I asked the boys what they would choose and voila sorted! We went with the design and drill set and a finger print friends set. Both have been a big success!

I would definitely say the site is worth a visit and it is now my go to place for presents when looking for something a bit different for youngsters. I like finding presents with a geeky twist and this site doesn’t push science gifts to boys and arty gifts to girls. It is such a refreshing change. Even the design of the toys is gender neutral. For example the design and drill set has bolts in yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and black. The drill itself is no specific colour either.
